,,Implementation of the results of R&D works on the way of cutting and rewinding low-weight thermal papers at EUREKA Waldemar Chmiel in Iława’’ under Priority Axis 1 – ,,Intelligent economy of Warmia and Mazury’’ Actions 1.5 – ,,Modern companies’’ Sub-measure 1.5.1 – ,,Implementation of results of R&D works’’ Regional Operational Program of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship for 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Project description

The undertaking will consist in implementing the results of R&D works on the method of longitudinal cutting and rewinding of low-density thermo-sensitive papers used for the production of cash register rolls, which will enable the introduction of process and product innovation on a national scale.

The material scope of the project includes the purchase of one line for the production and packaging of rolls for cash registers.The machine will be designed to handle the process of processing thermal papers into cash register rolls and will comprehensively integrate and automate it. It will create the necessary technical conditions for the effective use of thermosensitive papers with a weight lower than 48g / m2, increase in production efficiency, technical possibilities of printing winded papers on one workstation, application of a refining substance on paper, thereby increasing the efficiency of production quality.

As a consequence of the project, EUREKA’s offer will be extended by one new product: low-weight rolls for cash registers with parameters not available on the market so far and resulting from the new thermal raw material used.

The most important stages of the project:

STEP 1: competitive selection of the device supplier,

STAGE 2: purchase and delivery of a fixed asset by leasing,

STAGE 3: implementation and start of production of a new product: low-weight rolls for cash registers and project settlement

The project will be implemented in the town of Kamień Duży (Iława commune, Iławski poviat, Warmian-Masurian voivodeship).

The main goal of the planned undertaking is to increase the innovativeness and competitiveness of EUREKA Waldemar Chmiel by implementing R&D results to the undertaking, which at the same time will ensure the achievement of process and product innovation on a national scale.

Project finances

The total value of the project is: PLN 872,720.00 (say: eight hundred seventy two thousand seven hundred and twenty zlotys 00/100).

Co-financing for the implementation of the project from the European Regional Development Fund amounts to: 575,122.48 PLN (in words: five hundred seventy-five thousand one hundred and twenty two zlotys 48/100).

08.11.2016 r. – RESULTS OF THE TENDER PROCEDURE

We would like to inform you that on November 7, 2016, the best offer for the purchase of a line for the production and packaging of cash registers of a width of at least 1320 mm with a printing section in one colour was selected. It had been submitted by LA MECCANICA FUMAGALLI. SRL (Via Lavoratori Autobianchi – Lotto 1 B – 20832 Desio ITALY).
